In the March 2012 Market Roundup, Kevin Barry of the Traders & Investors Club discussed a possible megaphone topping pattern in the stock market.

Almost a year on, the market is getting very close to completing this pattern. If this pattern plays out as expected, the stock market will post a long-term top before the middle of the year and reverse hard into a severe multi-year bear market.

We shall be watching the unfolding of the pattern very carefully over the next couple of months.
