Do you have your money invested in a pension fund, a unit trust fund, an equity-based savings plan or an endowment policy? Most of us do. There is over two trillion pounds under management in the UK.

Did you know that over 65% of UK managed funds consistently underperform the market?

Do you realise that these funds charge you an 'initial fee' of up to 7% on all the money that you invest and apply annual management charges of up to 3%? This means that if you invest £1,000 in a fund with a 5% initial fee and the 'normal' annual management charge of 1.5%, your investment is immediately worth £935. Just to restore the value of your investment to breakeven, the fund has to return 7%! Is it any wonder that most funds are underperforming?

Many Index Tracker funds are likewise unable to keep pace with their respective index. One of the largest UK tracker funds is also one of the worst performers. It charges a management fee that is ten times higher than an equivalent fund that does a better job! Furthermore, in today's volatile markets, it is essential that we know how to make money whether the market is going up, down or sideways.

The Traders & Investors Club is a group of active traders and investors who have taken control of their own financial destinies. We offer education, encouragement, mentoring and support in all areas of personal finance for the mutual benefit of all the members as well as the opportunity to network with like-minded individuals.
