Traders & Investors Club Meeting - 18th March 2008
Speaking Volumes
You have heard great things about this stock. The bulletin boards are rampant with buy recommendations and the Company has recently enjoyed several analyst upgrades. The stock price is rising sharply and the Sunday papers are full of praise for the management team; it is this month's hot tip. That does it! You just can't bear missing out any longer. You instruct your broker to get you into the market first thing on Monday morning at any price. After a brief rise, the price drops sharply and continues to fall steadily over the following weeks until you can't stand the pain any more. You sell with a large loss. Where did it all go wrong? A few days later, the price turns around..............
If you recognise yourself in the above scenario, join the 90% of us who have lost money in the market because we trade using our emotions to guide us. There are 'dark forces' at work that know how to ensure that you buy at the top of the market and sell out almost exactly at the bottom. However, if you know what to look for, you will be able to avoid trading with the herd. Richard Wyckoff introduced his stock analysis method in the 1930s and it is still valid today.
Kevin Barry of the Traders & Investors Club will be demonstrating how reading the volume in conjunction with the price bars will enable you to keep the Professionals company on the right side of the market.
How I Trade
Bob Bleczinsky of the Traders & Investors Club will be sharing techniques that he uses in order to successfully trade the market. Bob will be covering:

Market Roundup And Open Forum
In order to be a successful trader in the modern world, you must be aware of how the price of wheat or an after dinner speech by Ben Bernanke will affect your stock and property portfolios. Kevin Barry of the Traders & Investors Club will present a brief summary of the recent global market action and throw the floor open to the audience for their take on the current trading environment.
Our Month In The Market
