How To Sell Melting Ice
"85% of options expire worthless"
If this statement is true, who is making money in the options trading game? The professionals of course, who are more than willing to sell overpriced options to amateur traders.
Following on from our recent discussion on selling options premium, we will be exploring one of the most important, yet widely misunderstood, concepts in options trading, that of volatility and how it affects option premium.
Kevin Barry of the Traders & Investors Club will be discussing how we can use our knowledge of volatility-based strategies to sell melting ice to eager buyers. He will be demonstrating how to find over-priced options and showing us exactly how to place high-probability trades with limited risk.
The Credit Crunch And What It Means To You
The City is built upon money and capitalism. We all use money, yet very few of us have an understanding of what money really is and how it lubricates not only the vast global financial machine but is also an integral part of the backbone of our society.
It is essential for anyone who is involved with the markets to grasp the concept of money, thereby understanding why liquidity has suddenly dried up and given rise to The Credit Crunch. Will the Government be able to stimulate the economy sufficiently to avoid recession? Will this be a good thing or a bad thing for you and your trading profits?
Simon Dixon of Benedix will be discussing how the Credit Crunch is likely to impact the market as a whole and looking at some of the best places in which to invest your money.
The Nuts and Bolts of Trading - The Bleczinski System, Part 4
Bob Bleczinski will be building upon his previous well-received presentations through which we have been following his daily routine as a Professional Trader.
Tonight, Bob will be focusing upon trade execution, gearing-up his resources and putting them into action in order to seek out and filter trading opportunities. If suitable opportunities happen to present themselves during the evening, Bob will be demonstrating how to identify trades in realtime.
Bob's trading strategy is based upon Dr. Alexander Elder's Triple-Screen technique, which he has refined to suit his personal trading style. This is a great opportunity to see how a Professional Trader builds upon his rigorous mental preparation in order to make classic technical analysis techniques work for him on a daily basis.
Market Roundup And Open Forum
In order to be a successful trader in the modern world, you must be aware of how the price of wheat or an after dinner speech by Ben Bernanke will affect your stock and property portfolios. Kevin Barry will present a brief summary of the recent global market action and throw the floor open to the audience for their take on the current trading environment.
Our Month In The Market
Members are encouraged to share their successful, or just as importantly, not so successful, trades with the Club. Have you discovered a strategy that works for you or would you like to learn how other traders have become successful?
