Review Of Binary Betting
John Piper is, in my opinion, the leading educator for Binary Options in the UK. He has published a number of books on the subject and this is his introductory text.
The major sections of the book are:
* A quick overview of betting
* What is a binary bet?
* Trading binary bets
* Different types of binary bets
* Getting started
* Real-life trading examples
* 10 binary trading tips
The book provides a good introduction to the major differences between binary options and traditional spread betting. The fact that John covers a couple of trades in detail really gets the message across.
You won't find any particular ideas for strategies in this book as they appear in his later work.
All in all, this is a solid introduction but once read I doubt that it would be revisited. Once the basics are grasped they are easily retained so this book will not be a reference title going forward. I'm sure that was John's intention and if you are interested in Binary Options and would prefer to read to find out more of the background information then this book will probably work for you.
On the other hand, if you have grasped the basics from the TIC presentations then you would get more out of John's second book. (Binary Trading)
